Welcome to Susan’s Book Brew
Let me pour you a cup. Every book has its own distinct flavour, and as a writer, I find myself brewing very different stories depending on the day. Choose Susan St Clare for cosy mysteries and romance, or Susan Sachon for Shakespeare, theatre and a darker turn of the page.
Cosy mysteries & romance
Susan St Clare
Under my pen name, Susan St Clare, you’ll find village mysteries full of character, contemporary love stories on the Cornish coast and Regency romance with a dash of spice. Discover A Whiff of Herbal Murder and the stories still brewing at my writing desk.
Shakespeare, thriller & stage
Susan Sachon
Behind the teapots is Susan Sachon: Shakespeare scholar, theatre director and author of the mystery thriller So Now Go Tell. Explore the books, research and stage work that grew from my love of Shakespeare.
‘I have lived a thousand lives, and I’ve loved a thousand loves. I’ve walked on distant worlds and seen the end of time. Because I read.’
George R.R. Martin
Whichever storytelling flavour you prefer, there is a seat at the table. Explore the books and discover the stories behind the writing. The Book Brew is for browsing and enjoying; take some time for yourself, to relax and savour.
